I'm working as a scientific assistant of Prof. J. Kramer in the working group "Arithmetic algebraic geometry" at the Institute of Pure Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics at Humboldt University Berlin.
Furthermore, my special efforts are devoted the Zentralblatt MATH.
(I would like to mention a historical ;-) event occurring these days: On Dec 01st 2005, we were catching up with MathSciNet - i.e., for the first time since many years, there are more entries, and more reviewed papers of the current year in the field of algebraic geometry/14 in ZblMATH than in our colleague's database!)

Hobbies:
In my spare time I play Chess in the 1st German Bundesliga club SK König Tegel.
Furthermore, I support the Jasmund National Park (Island of Rügen/Northern Germany) as a member of the National Park Jasmund Society.
