Mathematical notes and lectures

  • This is my talk on my joint work with M. Aprodu on Green's Conjecture. The talk was given in October 2010 in Kinosaki, at the annual meeting of Japanese algebraic geometers.

  • Notes of my talk on Explicit geometry of moduli spaces of spin curves given in September 2010 in Levico Terme, at the conference on the occasion of the 60th birthday of F. Catanese, C. Ciliberto and A. Verra.

  • In September 2009, I gave a series of lectures in Seoul on the Moduli spaces of curves with level structure. These are videos of the lectures.

  • Here are links to the videos of my 2007 lectures on moduli spaces of curves in Daejeon, Korea for the NIMS Winter School on Algebraic Geometry.

  • This is my lecture on The enumerative geometry of the moduli space of curves given at the Berlin Mathematical School Days in February 2008. I gave the same talk at the Jahrestagung der Deutschen Mathematiker-Vereinigung 2008 in Erlangen.

  • In August 2006 I taught a short course on moduli of curves in Cologne as part of a summer school on "Moduli Spaces and Arcs" organized by S. Kebekus. These are my notes in djvu format:
First lecture, Second lecture, Third lecture

  • In July 2005 as part of the Warm Up week for the AMS Summer Institute in Algebraic Geometry in Seattle, I lead a workshop for graduate students on Degeneration Methods in Algebraic Geometry. You can also find notes for my talk about Syzygies of varieties and Mark Green's Conjecture given during the workshop. A video of my talk is to be found here .
